Thanks ejamal! I was not aware that I could track the status of a money order.
I just called CIBC, but they said that I will have to go to my branch to get the status. They don't provide that information over the phone.

Any chance to get your app status?

Hi ppb12, welcome to this thread. i have added you to the spreadsheet.

I'm out of town until Sat so I won't be able to get my money order status soon. (CIBC told me that I would have to check its status with the branch that I purchased my money order from).

Lesson learnt: Don't use CIBC money order!

IMO, paying with credit card is the best option. It's fast and no need of bank fees.

I believe, we will be receiving positive eligibility review (PER) and file number from CIC now. good luck to everyone.

I think it would be logical for me to assume that all of us picked buffalo to be the our VO. With that in mind do any of you guys know any thing about the expected processing time in our case?
