I applied on November 23rd, so it's too early for me to expect anything. Also, I'm kinda skeptical about the fixed number of PhD applicants that the CIC is showing. With all do respect to snow_walker I think you are a bit optimistic. I myself believe that they are putting us on hold for awhile. On the other, you might be right and the cap could increase suddenly. Just like it happened before 0, 7, 24. After all, who knows what's going to happen?Dani1982 said:Just saw some applicant on November 8 got their PER email, any news from our Novemberian applicants??

There could a possibility that they charge us when the file number is issued. Any other thought?
I just checked and my MO was cashed on Jan 17th Sweetsnow_walker said:guys, a weird news.... i got my CC charged yesterday! weird since others who sent their application about a month ago didn't get their CC charged!!!

I used Canada post money order, and I was able to track it. If you used Canada Post money order, call 1-800-563-0444 and esquire about the money order status. I hope that was helpful.phdapplicant said:Congrats snow_walker and ejamal! It seems like a lot of our PhD apps have been charged today.
Unfortunately for me, I used money order so I won't be able to track my status.
Thanks ejamal! I was not aware that I could track the status of a money order.ejamal said:I used Canada post money order, and I was able to track it. If you used Canada Post money order, call 1-800-563-0444 and esquire about the money order status. I hope that was helpful.
