Congratulations, guys :)

edwin83, if you don't require the 5 adaptability points to get above 67 points, most likely they have deemed you to pass selection factor, and have accepted your work experience. Send your documents as soon as possible, and you'll get your MR in no time :D

And regarding your POF, I'll PM you in a bit as I was in a similar situation when they asked me for POF documents.
Hi asbereth, I have checked your message. It is really helpful! Many thanks!

Guys I still have this pending question. Since I gotten my police cert reissued and know that the one they is with CIC has expired like 6 mths ago, should I proactively send it to them or wait for them to send me a request? What would be a wiser move?

Hey guys! I just came across this statement on CIC website regarding previous study points, which says:
"There is no need to have obtained a degree or diploma for these two years of study to earn these points"

Then why do you say those 5 points are not granted to phd stream applicants??

......cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/factor-adaptability.asp

Because that is for a previous study, not your current one. So if you dropped out of a previous PhD after your second year, you get the points, but if you are currently in your third year, you do not.
:D Welcome to the bureaucracy in Canada.

Why don't you send a scan by email and then wait until they ask the original.

LOL. No, it can't be your sister, brother, mother or father. Only you and your spouse/kids.

My situation is a long story!!
I have MD from Iran which is evaluated as MSc in Iran, But Bsc here!!Meaning that I don't have Msc, though it is mentioned in my degree that it is equal to MSc!! I am not sure how the new credential assessment is gonna assess it! any idea?

That MD includes 18 months internship. I don't count on it! should I?? It was at the end of my studies, though still a part of it!
I have 15-16 months work experience after my MD! My language and age points are max!
I started from Msc, but transferred to Phd! so I have no master based on their definition! By the way, what is ''professional degree'' which receives equal point to masters??
If they only count my internship, or evaluate my degree as msc, or get me those adaptability points, I would be eligible!
Or I have to forget about it until I get my Phd!

MD is indeed a bachelors here, and its a professional degree, like Law and nursing. THis is what is writen in the OP6:
Medical doctor degrees are generally first-level university credentials, in the same way that a Bachelor of Law or a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology is a first level, albeit “professional” degree and should be awarded 20 points. If it is a second-level degree and if, for example, it belongs to a Faculty of Graduate Studies, 25 points may be awarded. If a bachelor’s credential is a prerequisite to the credential, but the credential itself is still considered a first-level degree, then 22 points would be appropriate. It is important to refer to how the local authority responsible for
2012-03-22OP 6B Federal Skilled Workers- Applications received on or after June 26, 2010
educational institutions recognizes the credential: i.e., as a first-level or second-level or higher university credential.
