You should have sent the original and the translation with a copy of the original attached to your original application. This is the kind of document that is worthy waiting for in order to have a stronger application.

Now what do you think I should do? Do you think the original copy without the translation is enough? They have the translation already.

If I were you, I would send them the official translation of it as we do always (certified by "DADGOSTARI") and the original one in Farsi. Do not risk man. They are more strict against us apparently.

If that is indeed the case, just sent them the original. It is important to always have extra copies and originals of everything. I order 3 copies of my translated documents just in case when i was gathering my docs.

I agree with the theory that said they want to keep the processing time close to the 8 months they mentioned in their website. These days, it is 8 months for May applicants.

Hi, I am new to this forum, but I've been reading posts here for a few months. I have a question about settlement funds. A few days ago, Ottawa asked me to send them proof of funds along with an account activity for six months. Wouldn't an account activity for six months serve as proof of funds? Thanks again!
