Ottawa has requested a police record of my spouse.
Besides, my ECAS status has been changed to
"We received your application for permanent residence on December 16, 2011.
We started processing your application on June 27, 2012."
It might be just me since I appealed and got my NER reverted to PER recently.
phdapplicant, congratulations
!!!! You mentioned that they rejected your appeal regarding the adaptability points, if you don't mind sharing, what did you do to bring it up to their attention that you have a relative that's recently naturalized (or become PR)? Did you re-appeal?

I have a query for those applicants who submitted only their non TA/RA (other)work experience. Apart from experience letter, which other documents should be submitted as proof of work experience? Thx
Make sure though that in your experience letter, you got everything that they are requesting (job descriptions consistent with NOC 4012, total number of hours worked per week, period of employment, salary, etc). Technically, you don't really need anything else since it's not really mentioned in the checklist, but some extra documents (provided that there is no contradictory information) would not hurt. Try to submit anything that you have, and make sure, once again, everything is consistent and non-contradictory. Good luck with your applications, and keep us all updated
