But I did not get any score for Human Capital - Canadian Work Experience. Do you know why?

I haven't seen the EE system so I am not sure, but from previous posts I think we will have to wait until May when something may came up for PhD students

Sorry to hear that....I am DEC 24 Applicant (PhD Stream). I do not know about the cap...When can we expect any notification from CIC... ?!!

Under EE system, even if the applicant applies for FSW, the work experience obtained during full-time study is not considered. In other words, it is regardless of the type of the category under which you apply. Therefore, those PhD students who want to apply under EE, they have to provide at least one year of full time work experience during the time they were not studying at all or they were a part-time student.

My wife came in Canada recently as a visitor. Although she had a five yrs visa but the officer gave her only 3.5 months visitor permit. We applied for her OWP but we didn't receive the decision even after 43 days and now she had to leave Canada. I have called to the call centre to confirm whether my wife can stay in implied status or not but they said the officer at the airport during her arrival override the condition for being in implied status. So she had to leave on 10th January. I bought the ticket and her flight was at 11pm. When we arrived at airport we have requested the officer that her application is in process and also showed my PER letter. Then officers convinced and allowed her to stay until she get a decision. And guess what on Monday she got the approval of her OWP and next day we got the Medical. It was terrible week for us but thankfully two good news relieved all the stresses.

Sorry to hear that you and your wife had to go through all these stresses. But thank God it worked out for you! Let's hope for the next good new of PPR in about one month from now ;D

Finally, I received the passport request yesterday

Btw, I have an old passport and a new one. Should I send both passports or only the new one? All of my travel details are in the old passport.

Also, do I have to send two photos with the passport?
