Applicant from PhD program after 5 Nov, 2011 connect here to get status

Hi all,

my online Status was updated today (or late yesterday). It says now:

"Decision Made"
1.We received your application for permanent residence on June 2, 2014.
2. We started processing your application on January 9, 2015.
3. Medical results have been received.
4. A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

I'm excited and can't wait to hear from them.
Since I'm a German applicant I'm guessing I won't get a PPR. Can you guys tell me what my next steps are?
I assume I'll get a letter via regular mail with instructions?

Congrats. Yes you should receive your CoPR soon by regular mail.

Mine reached on Dec 1, NO CC charged and no application package (return) in the mail.

I guess it is soon for those applicants, maybe by the end of next week you should expect that, right now they are charging mid Nov applicants

Congrats. Yes you should receive your CoPR soon by regular mail.

I am afraid that it will take more time when they start to release invitations of Express entry.

I guess it is soon for those applicants, maybe by the end of next week you should expect that, right now they are charging mid Nov applicants

You have to do 'flag-polling', leave Canada and land to obtain PR status. Just approach a CBSA officer and they will tell you what to do. PR card is mailed from Sydney after landing.
