Such an encouragement to xls! Tell me Chymes it's been 11 days since my application was approved and closed but no pick up mail although I sent a prepaid return envelope when I submitted my passport. I emailed AVO last week but they haven't replied.

Should I wait longer? Am I within the normal time? How long did it take to get PUM after submitting passport and after application approved and closed? Thanks

Papapsi, if you had a prepaid return envelope, why don't you contact the courier service provider?

I'm sure AVO will reply you soon and tell you "Please be advised that our records indicate that an e-mail was sent to you on ........., informing you to make arrangements for courier pick up"

It takes them about 14 days to respond to mail, plus the plenty public holidays the last few days.

Please I need advise from the house.
I am trying to get flight ticket for my family from Lagos -Halifax(NS) but most flight will go through either Toronto or Montreal before getting to Halifax.My fear is that the flight from either Toronto/Montreal to Halifax will be local.But how do I do the immigration formalities?Can I stopped at another province b4 reaching my province?I am a PNP holder
Kindly advise on what to do please.

I called DHL and they said they'd stopped doing prepaid envelopes so we're shocked their officer even did one for me. What they're saying is without a pickup mail from AVO they cannot go to pick it up. I sent the mail about 8 days ago. I will wait it out and see what happens within a week.

I too really want to know how you picked up without PUM. UPS sent me the following while just making pick up enquiry

Kindly provide payment notification, the details below with the scanned copy of authorization letter and your correspondence with the Embassy on this application which states that the shipment is ready for pick-up as this will be presented to the Embassy for the release of this shipment to us;

You can land anywhere, but if you choose Montréal, be ready to provide prove of onward travel. Please not allow enough connection time as your landing formalities will be done at the first port of entry.

I guess including a prepaid return envelope works perfectly. These courier service providers should allow the inclusion of a prepaid return envelope.

Where exactly did you send the passport (DHL office)?

I went to the DHL Office in Accra to submit the passport and asked for a prepaid return envelope. They sent both. Still no pick up mail

It's a miracle. Na God do am!!
