In filling out the first doc-- Generic Application Form for Canada......

Question 7 asks if I've received my Certificat de sélection du Québec ( CSQ ). When I looked it up, it's for Skilled Workers in Quebec. So, that doesn't apply to me???

From my Guideline list:

Complete all sections. If a section does not apply to you, write “Not Applicable” or “NA”. If information or documents are missing, your entire application will be returned to you. You will need to re-submit your application with the missing information or documents.

Complete all the relevant sections of the application forms that apply to you. So I didn't send in the "Use of a Representative" form with all N/A on it, because it didn't apply to me. But I did fill in every section on the forms that DID apply to me, even if I just used N/A.

Q7 sounds like it doesn't apply to you if you don't have an CSQ. N/A

Now, one last one (for awhile I hope)..... when asked for Nicknames -- surely they don't mean internet nicknames used on forums, etc. ??

They must mean nicknames used formally or on important papers?

I think they meant formal nicknames. For example. My daughter's given name is Amelia. But she go by Mia. So Mia would be her nickname.

Not internet nicks, or anything like that.

For copies of emails, can I just copy/paste the text and dates?

Printing out one short one took 2 pages printing it off Gmail!
I'd have 1,000 pages by the time I'm done! Jeez!

I've seen posts about photos needed as per the application guide. My application guide has nothing like that in there.
Nothing about attaching or including photos.

Maybe I have the wrong guide?
Can someone post a link to the proper Outland application guide, please.

you could either print the email from gmail and in printing options select only the page with the email on it OR you could copy paste. imo from gmail is better evidence as it is less likely to be falsified, but then again, if you have tons of evidence, they probably don't care if it is copy/pasted.

If you are applying OUTLAND, then yes, that is the ocrrect guide.

Just to clarify for you, there is both a guide and a checklist for the applicant and the sponsor. The guides tell you how to fill out the forms, the checklists tell you what you need to include in the application.
