Hi seniors! Been a silent follower of this thread since late March. It's really been an super stress buster for me to see so many of you Jan guys get PPR. But I am in need of advice now.
I just got a mail from cic requesting additional documented proof of our relationship with our children(both less than 5 years). We had submitted their birth certificates , but in our culture in India, we decide the name of the kids on the 11th day of their birth in a naming ceremony, hence the birth certificates do not bear the name of our kids. We had also send their passport scans, which did have our names on it..

However, additional documented proof is requested by CIC. Can you please guide me with examples of such documents that I can submit to CIC's request?

A prompt response will be appreciated as I have a short timeline to submit it.
ITA: Dec 4
AOR: Jan 28
Medical pass: Feb 8

make new birth certifiactes, its not that hard get it done my friend born in 1988 made his new birth certificate in 2016 ,
whose name is in your kids passport in the column of father's name, as of my knowledge passport has either father's name or name of spouse

after having asked numerous times if there was any fsw inlander left without updates, i can't help but feel i am the only FSW Inlander left in Jan group. AOR 19th

Friend, some thoughts:
- Older the documents (e.g. something which you have before submitting eAPR), that would probably lend more credibility
- As you are from India, you may have Adhaar card for the kids
- If kids are school going, you may have their I-cards with your name
- You may have opened some bank accounts in their name which will bear your name

You haven't reached the 5 month mark yet my friend. I think you should be okay considering most people got it in 148-152 days from AOR. I hope the next rain of PPR clears us all.

That means everything they received looks fine and under review... no need to worry... process is normal... you will see BG status change again during the last stage of process...
