I am a CEC Inland applicant, and just wanted to verify this. I applied with a different job while submitting my profile. Recently I changed my job. I only sent in an address change information(which is also applicable in my case). Should I inform CIC of my job change as well? As far as I know, it does not matter once you have applied, but would like to verify just in case.riasat.abir said:There's no problem quitting your job unless you are CEC applicant.

Thank you so much, so you mean that if my BGC will change again to in progress then Ill expect PPR? thank you.INR2CAD07 said:That means everything they received looks fine and under review... no need to worry... process is normal... you will see BG status change again during the last stage of process...
Most likely, yes , next BG change to in-progress .. you can expect PPR ....cuteness7 said:Thank you so much, so you mean that if my BGC will change again to in progress then Ill expect PPR? thank you.
I think FSW Inland processing is slower

FSW Inland
got AOR in April 23 then medical passed April 26, then BGC is in progress May 25, until I received email June 2 requesting to rescan on of my police clearance and submitted same day, June 2..then my BGC was changed after 2 days from in progress to not needed at this time till now..
do you know what does it means?
thank you
Yes. My BGC and Review of eligibility are in progress for 4 months now. No LMIA or PNP. Submitted my FBI reports recently and the call center told me that they are waiting on my BGC results to come. Keeping fingers crossed.INR2CAD07 said:Hello Ravi, are you FSW inlander ?
There is no consistent trend. My BGC changed in in progress in January itself (my AOR is Jan 6th). No updates since thenviveksnh said:BCG updated to "In Progress" - AOR Jan 28 2016
Today 1:30pm PST, I checked my CIC account and saw that the Application status was "Updated". When I looked closely, I see that my background check moved from "Not needed at this time" to "In Progress".
I didn't receive any email message or any other message in my CIC account.
How long did it take for you guys to get the PPR email? From what I have read, there doesnt appear to be any consistent trend. Some people get ppr same day after BCG check goes to in progress.
Did they give you a sense of how long your background check will take? I submitted by FBI report in early March.ravikgunturi said:Yes.
