Typically, as per CIC requirement, the letter also needs to provide details regarding "Average 6 months balance"/. However, not every bank provides this information in the letter.

As such, applicants provide past 6 months bank statements as a compensating evidence. If you have not provided any corresponding information related to average 6 months balance.

It is suggested to print off the monthly bank statements for 6 months--> get each statement stamped by the bank teller and raise a CSE explaining this additional evidence.

As your application is currently "In Process". There is no harm providing this evidence.

Hope this helps. +1 if you feel appropriate.

BUT THE PROBLEM IS i HAD TRANSFERRED THE FUNDS FROM MY COUSIN'S ACCOUNT JUST THE DAY BEFORE WE GOT THE LETTER FROM THE BANK...IN THIS CASE HOW CAN I PROVIDE SIX MONTHS OF BANK STATEMENT??

This is a tricky situation as "cousin" has provided you the funds. Typically, a transfer of large amounts in one or two transactions can be questioned by IRCC.

I have seen previously applicants getting large amounts transferred from parents and/or siblings. However, this would be backed by a Gift Deed signed by the person providing the amount and couple of witnesses.

:o i did the same thing too. Although, in my case, I sold savings bonds that ware in my name and put the cash in my bank account. And to make matters worse, I have no transaction in that account since. :-\
