I'm a FSW Outland, got my OAR on 9th Jan, my Background Check changed from In progress (14th Jan) back to not needed (16th Jan). Hope you're right and it will be fast.rohansekhri said:Any FSW Outland candidates here? The "update Tuesday" has passed and still no update in my profile after the medical passed on 27th Jan.
All the backlogs were cleared last December, so processing should be fast. God knows why there aren't any updates. Is there anyone who got the AOR in Jan and has gone beyond "Medicals: Passed" status?
Thanks
good one dcr...make sense...i liked your last line....perfect....dcr6 said:this is just mere speculation.
i see the trend is that if the time difference between meds done and Bg in progress is significant (like in your case) then it seems like ppr is closer from the next update .
on the contrary , in my case , every parameter has been updated , so now its a longer wait. You get me ?
it doesn't make too much sense but its just to put a rosy picture to relieve your stress level.
I paid full fees upfront.adey786 said:On the same note....question for those who have received BG check updates (either started or not needed), did they pay full fees? Another logic of fast processing of some applciations (as already mentioned somehwere in my CIC account/ cic website) is full payment of the fees....the comment is like 'the application will be processed faster, if you pay full fees'.....
So did I. I was stuck with one PCC and CIC asked me on 13.1 to submit it within 2 month me s. I've just uploaded PCC. Hopefully, it speeds up for me too from now onwards.AmericanMovingToCanada said:I paid full fees upfront.

Good question. It is 4 months or may be even more...as of today, they opened 10-14-15 application.rajibsam said:Paid Upfront.
Please let me know if anyone knows whether CIC gives second extension for PCC (considering CIC gives first extension of 60 days for PCC which is not enough for US PCC since now the US PCC processing time is around 4 months).
We have very similar timeline. Hope for the best!eski said:background check changed from NOT STARTED to NOT NEEDED AT THIS TIME 2nd Feb 2016
