Congratulations. When did your BG check change and how long did it take between it changing to 'in progress' to getting PPR? A lot of people are trying to figure out that part! Thanks

Congrats!! could you please share which category do you belong to?? I mean FSW, CEC, or PNP?? Inland or Outland?

one of my Friend is from Dec 30th AOR - FSW inland , his back ground check changed to in-progress last weekend. Hope we are next in Queue for FSW inlanders ( NO PNP / NO LMIA ) ..

I hope so too.
I am positive. We will get it in the next 2 or 3 weeks. We need to keep calm and be patient. ;)

PPR!!!!! I think???!!

Got the email, but im visitor visa exempt, as I am UK citizen, so I dont get a visa in passport, but I do need to do a couple of things like send them a copy (again??) and 2 photos of me (they have this in online application LOL!) Maybe this is a different department. WEIRD.

The processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete. You must complete the following steps within 30 days in order for our office to issue your Confirmation of Permanent Residence and, if applicable, your permanent residence visa. If for any reason you are not able to meet this deadline, please inform CPC-Ottawa immediately by email to: LDNIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca with details concerning your situation.

FSW Outland, applying from UK. Single sole applicant.

AOR 25 Jan
Medicals passed a few days after
Then BG change on ~approx 14 May.
Now PPR on 7 June.

Congratulations! Even if it's a bit like stumbling over the line with those last few requests...
 
Guys! After 146 days the wait is finally over!!! I got the golden ticket this morning! :D

Thanks everyone for the support and good luck to everyone still waiting!

I know it is hard, I mean, just yesterday I was complaining that the wait was horrible and this morning my husband started researching the Australian immigration process and then BAM! Before we were about to give up hope, we got our Ready for Visa letter!

So hang in there!! It looks like there's a storm coming...
