No such action is required on your part. AFAIK, they already have access to your reports from the issuing organization.

For refusal of visitor visa if you have refusal letter you must upload that or else just mention the date and year it was rejected and if you know tell them the reason. or say reason not known. Student visa and Visitor visa refusals are very common.

Please what if the visa refusal was not from canada but another country. Do my spouse still have to mention it in personal history/statutory questions, fill schedule A form and also upload the visa refusal letter though he is not the Principal applicant?

Please explain. Thank you.

Bestofluck - I had a student visa rejected four years ago but then I was issued a visitors visa more than a year ago where I believe I had subjected a schedule A. This time when I applied I said I was rejected a visa but didn't have a place to explain it. I was not requested to send a schedule A. Is this going to cause a problem with my pr application?

yes you have to mention all visa refusals. it is just a formality. fill the req schd A and upload any letter you have or just say reason not known.

I dont think it will be a problem. IF they req you to send then send it later. If you think of playing safe raise cse and send them the details saying you forgot to mention it. normally you have to upload in LOE.

Best of luck thanks for your response . Here are the details I am mentioning in my schedule A . Please advise if it's ok or is it too much info

I applied for Work permit extension on June 22nd ( as my post graduate work permit was expiring ) while I was on implied status I had to travel back to India because of my fathers eye surgery . CIC call centre rep advised me that if I want to travel back to Canada I will have to apply for visitor visa ( outside of Canada) . My visitor visa application was refused on grounds of

Purpose of visit : my OINP application was in process and it's always easy to maintain communication , send documents and attend interview from with in Canada . However this reason could not satisfy the officer that I will leave Canada at the end of my authorised stay.

Current status of employment : since I lost my employment due to leaving Canada on implied status I couldn't not satisfy the officer that I will leave Canada at the end of my authorised stay.

Please advise if this explanation is good enough or shall I change language / content etc . Your help is always appreciated .

I would make it as simple as

My application of June 22nd 2016 was refused.

As it was urgent for me to visit my home country due to family problem while on implied status, I applied for Visitor Visa to return to Canada, while my PR file is in process. The officers were not convinced for reason unknown, and refused my Visa.

Note: Never give personal reasons like father's eye surgery, and keep an window open for further explanation when required.
If the reasons were explained verbally, you always say reason unknown, and if they give you printed refusal letter you need to upload
