I would make it as simple as

My application of June 22nd 2016 was refused.

As it was urgent for me to visit my home country due to family problem while on implied status, I applied for Visitor Visa to return to Canada, while my PR file is in process. The officers were not convinced for reason unknown, and refused my Visa.

Note: Never give personal reasons like father's eye surgery, and keep an window open for further explanation when required.

Thanks a lot Best of Luck
If the reasons were explained verbally, you always say reason unknown, and if they give you printed refusal letter you need to upload

seniors please help

If there is a refused visa case do we answer yes to both these questions mentioned in eAPR

Has Xyz been refused refugee status, or an immigrant or permanent resident visa (including a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ) or application to the Provincial nominee Program) or visitor or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any other country?

And

Has Xyz ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada or any other country

If yes do we need to provide the same details twice or can we just mention same as above for the second question .

Please help

Hello members,

I notice that we need to upload employment letters in the PR Application.
I had requested letters that are addressed to CIC from my OINP days - so they are dated December 2015.
Do you think I should request letters that are more up to date? Meaning they have a 2016 date?

Also, which address did you use for CIC?

Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone!
I need your advise. I broke my arm this year and had a surgery during which steel pins were put into my elbow. I plan to remove them but I won't be able to do this before my medical check. What do you think how this will affect my medical results submitted to cic?
Please share your opinions.

Hi there,

My friend just realized that he entered the wrong month in his birthday information, but cannot change it now. Even though it says "You can change your answer by clicking the "Modify Family Information" button on the previous page", he cannot find that button. So what should he do in this situation? Please advise.

Thanks,

It won't be any problem. Go for medicals without any tension. Dr will put the details if he requires.

Questions while filling the applications :
1.While filling the education details do we need to fill in School & college details ? I had filled only Bcom & CA details earlier.
2.I had mentioned University of Mumbai. Do I also need to mention my college name ?
3.I was refused Canada Temporary resident visa once earlier. What details am I suppose to fill in the Statutory questions regarding this.
4.For travel history, I have mentioned each country I have visited seperately and clubbed the cities visited together , is that ok ? Also do we need to repeat travel history in personal activities

Thanks for your help in advance.

Thanks,

Birthday should be as per your passport. Submitting incorrect info in e-apr may get construed as mis-representation.

IRCC website sometimes behave erratically. Try using another browser and see if that "Modify Family Information" button is visible.

Hello bestofluck and everyone else.

Please I need help with these.

On my child's PR form for e-APR, there was a question about naming child's immediate family members that have not been identified in the app. Should I put spouse and I's names or what? My family is just made up of my child, myself and spouse and we r all applying for PR together so I really don't understand the question.

2. In my spouse form, it asked if spouse had used a different name before and I answered yes. As her name changed from birth name/maiden name to new name after marriage. So what is the correct one to pick in the drop down options? Will it be name before marriage or birth?

3. Under the immigration history and citizenship question, its asking me for a UCI which I don't have since I am a first time applicant. Do I leave it blank or type NA? Are we meant to leave any questions blank or put NA if it doesn't apply to us?

4. In my spouse's form, should she name me, our son and parents as immediate family not identified in the application? She is an only child so her immediate family is just me, her son and her parents. Gosh this question is soo confusing!

Thank you all.

Hi,

I did the opposite as in Schedule A, the second questions is " refused admission, or ordered to leave" only

So I choosed first question and answered yes as I have a refused Schengen many years before

DO you think it's a big deal
