I think most of the OINP nominated candidates may face the same dilemma that they faced after filing for OINP in 2015. Another long wait.............bestofluck said:20000 + ITA in last four months !!!!!!
Guys do you think IRCC has a capacity to process this many application at a time in 6 months ? Are we going to face a long wait for PR ?
For inland applicants, IRCC might allow "extension" of medicals. You should "land" or activate your Permanent Residence before the expiry of your visa/COPR or your current passport, whichever comes first.IAMFINE said:Quey: I understand our medicals are valid for one year and we need to land in Canada before that. How about if we are already in Canada does this apply even for inland applicants. Do we need to do medicals once again?
Hopefully no one beats OINP in their delay records :-\musicnlyrx said:I think most of the OINP nominated candidates may face the same dilemma that they faced after filing for OINP in 2015. Another long wait.............
I think this increase in ITA which we have seen recently is the result of the fact that IRCC has gradually been closing the PR applications prior to the EE system. It had been announced for a serveral times that EE gradually would be the main source of new applications. IRCC has to handle 50-70.000 economic migrant cases each year, and according the last EE report (end2015) not every invited applicant file a PR visa request, some never send their applications to IRCC, some delay it for a couple of months.bestofluck said:20000 + ITA in last four months !!!!!!
