Guys.

Is Schedule A. always asked as Letter of Explanation?

I mean under what category it has to be uploaded once it has been asked for?

Nope, it's supposed to be a separate sch. A upload link

Well, that is scary now.

I had been requested Schedule A.

then I received an update E-mail.

When I checked, there is no upload link for Schedule A. But there is an upload link for "Replacement - Letter of Explanation".

What does that mean.

Can you please give me the CIC number that I should call for clarification, from outside the country.

Hi guys,

I am so eager to get this done. I've been patiently waiting for CIC to finish reviewing my application. It will be 5 months this week and this is my timeline so far:

Profile created on: 18/06/15
PR application submitted: 19/06/15
ITA received on: July 17th, 2015
AOR Sept 12th, 2015
Sept 18th, 2015 Document Requested (FBI Background Check and other countries)
Sept 19th, Medical pass
Oct 20th Right of permanent residence fee request
Oct 21st receipt received
Nov 11th FBI Background check received and submitted
January 26th FBI document added to my file

No further updates so far.

I hope we can all get our PR soon and finish this long process.

Cheers,

Guys Desperately need help.

I got requested "Sch. A" For Spouse.
While filling "Sch. A" we received a (possible) ghost E-mail.
When checked, there is only one upload link available under "Replacement - Letter of Explanation". There is no Schedule A upload link available.

Am I supposed to upload the schedule A under "Replacement - Letter of Explanation"? Is this Normal?

I haven't been requested any documents yet, so I'm not talking from experience - but I suppose upload it in the field that you have active. I mean, you don't have any other options, right? There were cases when people have been requested docs and didn't have an active upload field at all, so you getting a LoE field could be a minor mistake on their part, or they really don't care how you submit the docs as long as you do.
I say submit it in the field you have and see if the "additional documents request" field in your myCIC status turns to "provided". And if not, try sending a CSE.

Dose CIC ask for Sch.A just from outland applicants?

Where is your Local Visa Office? Dose CIC process USA applications inside Canada? I guess your visa office should be Ottawa as other inlanders!

I have no idea where my visa office is...how do I get that information?

If you had ordered GCMS notes, you could see there.

As far as I know, they ask for Schedule 4&4A from PNP applicants and for Schedule A if you've answered "yes" to any of the statutory questions, or if you have gaps in personal history.

I'm FSW Inland and I got the Schedule A request, because I answer yes to the question of previous denied visas

Thanks saravsingh, ellia and maryliag for your answers :) +1 for each of you.

No need to freak out. CIC is unpredictable so they may have considered it an LOE. If you were not asked any other document then upload it there. Unfortunately, I don't have their phone number, but I would find it and call them as well just in case.

Hello guys,

I have been in 'background check' mode since late september and received a do-not reply email from CIC that my application has been updated, but when I check there is nothing new and no new messages.

Am I missing sth? Had this happened to anyone?

Cheers,
S
