I'm logging in after quite a long break and feeling so very bad to see that you guys are still waiting. What is wrong with the CIC? 10+ months of wait is a lot to ask anyone for, especially when the indicated times are of 6 months duration! Good luck guys and I hope you do get it soon! I am also with you guys. Last update I got was in July to get my Medicals to be done again. Since then No update apart from Medicals Passed. I have called CIC twice but getting the same answer that my application is in Process and kindly wait. This wait is becoming frustrating and never ending.

Just want to know: Can I order GCMS notes from India? If yes then how and what are the charges?

I am in same position for last 10 months as per my gcms note. What about you?

Well, my file seems to be pending the attention of an officer, as everything seems to be passed/met. However, my visa office says that some background checks are still in progress. I guess, they just send the generic/standard responses, just to keep us entertained.

As per the letter from the CSIS, my security screening was already concluded in March, 2016. :-X

I think, IRCC has already consumed majority of its available slots/quotas for the year and we might have to wait until the commencement of the next intake.

It seems, once an application exceeds the normal processing time, it becomes a low priority, as it doesn't add any value to IRCC's service standards which are expressed in terms of 80% of the applications (quantitative, rather than qualitative).

Very well explained. I also feel that they may not touch my file in 2016. I am waiting for next year intake.
