Hi Guys.
Still no update regarding PPR.

I received my GCMS notes on 14/10/2016. As per the notes, everything is cleared since long. However, I have not received my PPR. Can anyone suggest what else can be done now?

This wait is really getting frustrating now.

I got my PPR this Wednesday, after two months of everything being done. I think they are just tooooo slow for the cases passing 7 or 8 months. So do not lose hope. You will get the email. It's just the matter of time. Unfortunately, our times is not important for CIC. They just care for their statistics. They just want to say they have processes 80% of the cases in less than 6 months. Anyone who is not in the 80% can easily pass 1 year and they simply don't care.

Q: Did anyone get any response asking for any more documents ? (like proof of relationship)

Of course you could apply for gcms notes any time - any number of times across your entire application. Many people keep doing it once a month to see progress on their files.

Any Update for any of you?

Today I called up CIC call center again. I am always getting the same answer that they are working on my file and they are doing security check. I don't know but why are they taking so long time. Moreover, Security Check is being stated passed in the GCMS notes I ordered twice. Its really becoming more and more frustrating.

Can anyone suggest me what else can be done?

This thread is actually for (was for) those with application submitted in Oct 2015

Unfortunately the few you see remaining are the ones pending for that LONG - more than 16 months.
