Upfront medical exam: 24th Sept, 2015
PR application submitted: 27th Oct, 2015
AOR recieved: 27th Oct, 2015
BG check In Progress : 05, Nov 2015
Med Passed : 07, Nov 2015

What's you category?

So some further information about Schedule A. It could be asked based upon a YES in any of refusal (statutory) questions. But it was asked of many people with all nos as well.

By "gaps in background" usually people don't know that it actually means something over looked.

In most forms CIC states "since 18 years of age or last 10 years which ever is most recent". So if it has been more than 10 years since you were 18, you would just input those.

I heard from some lawyers description that their system needs it since the age of 18. So every one who misses that, receives Schedule A, even again if they make the same mistake.

And this fits perfectly for all cases i know which still received Schedule A while they didn't have any NOs in statuary questions.

Moral of the story, provide all history since the age of 18, period. Besides there is no harm in doing that.

Hope it is useful to others. Good luck

Hello AAA,

We applied under CEC inland. How does ECAS work? will we get intimated by CIC via mail?

No, try this ti check if you already have access:

https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do?app=eca

Looks like things are moving quite slow now. Its been more than a month since i had any update from CIC. Whats happening with others. Guys please comment and let us keep this thread active. Any new updates from CIC for October submission.

Regards

Today it's Monday, let's see if CIC changes the processing speed for our applications.

For me the medicals Passed on 15th October and the Background check is in status 'Not Started' since 19th October.

Any idea, if there is any other stage between the 'Medicals Passed' and 'Background Check in Progress'?

Thanks for the information guys :)
No Gaps in the background history and I did not marked any of the statutory questions as YES.
Lets see what CIC has to ask/update in coming days.

I have the same timeline as you and no Schedule A request. I guess it depends if they find a gap in the history. It just says the application is in process since 21st Oct.

hi guys i got update today asking for schedule A, how did you guys do it? did you answer the question on the computer print it out signed and scan to upload?? anyway my timeline
