I raised CSE a couple of weeks ago because I have a new passport. Will I get a message from immigration saying they received my update?

I will have to raise another CSE in 2 or 3 weeks when I relocate from ON to NS. Hopefully my application will move again once I update my address

Yes, you will get an acknowledgment. It might take upto 2 to 3 weeks though.
