I have got my PPR around 8.00PM EST today.Below is my time line

Visa Office......: Ottawa
NOC Code......: 2282
AOR Received.: 02/10/2016
IELTS Request: Upfront
Med's Request: Upfront
Med's Done....: 30/08/2016
Additional DOC: Family Info and RCMP check (25/11/2017 and 15/11/2016)
Interview........: Not needed at this time
Passport Req..: 17/02/2017
VISA ISSUED...: No
LANDED..........: No

Just a quick quest, how many months, from the date of medicals, usually is the validity of the visa issued?? I read that before the expiry of the medicals but how many months to be exact? Thank you in advance for answering!

Some applicants are asked to redo medicals if the validity is less then 6 months before PPR ( not all ).

Family Day in Canada today, I don't think CIC is working

It's not a statutory holiday. I know someone who works for immigration and he is working today.

In some provinces it's not a statutory holiday. For example in BC Family day was last Monday. Also I think that VO in other countries are working as usual.

When they asked for passport . Does that means it almost there?Like 90%chance to get the PR,right?
