Hello guys.. It seems I have weird status changes for my application.

22nd October -AOR - BC PNP(Inland)
4th Nov -Medicals passsed & BG inprogress
26 Dec - BG not needed again
5 Jan - Medicals in review

Anyone have similar timeline or can anyone explain..

THanks.

When did you do your medicals? Are they expiring soon?

Okay guys, I have something to confess. I let the dogs out. ;D

I gave it upfront...

I did my medicals in January 2016.

Hey Ajay, I think it won't be a problem. Me too did my upfront medicals January'16 and had a very similar situation as yours, my medicals also went to "Review in progress" two times and passed twice on 15-11-2016 & 01-12-2016, but my BG never changed to IP till date instead it changed like NS & NN.

CIC medical result is valid for 12 months from the date you taken the medicals. Also, you have already submitted valid medical results, so if recent one is required then officers will contact you in EE system.

No worries!.

BG finally changed to NN for the first time after "In Progress" since ... 10/Nov ::)

Hopefully things will move faster...

Hi guys

Just received my GCMS notes today and they are showing:

Medicals PASSED
Criminality PASSED
Eligibility MET
Security NOT STARTED

Any idea how long it gonna take for security clearance ( my BG check went IP since 15/12/2016 ) ?

Its different for different people. Might depend on the nationality, countries visited, frequent visits to "certain" countries among other things.

If after crossing 6 months you still haven't received PPR, you can order another set of notes.

According to the CIC they do not ask for RCMP criminal check as a required document. But later they can ask for it. But submitting the non-Canadian PCCs are must. If it is not submitted upfront the application could get rejected right away.
