Hi Liara,

Did your BG changed to progress today??

if so, expect PPR email tomorrow :) (Hope so)

you will get your Update email for the In progress tomorrow.... wait for the PPR Req then

All the best...

I just received a call from Canada Post that they could not find my mail with my CoPR, in another word it was lost :(

I have sent an email to CIC to confirm how to obtain a new one.

Oh dear, I can imagine how stressed you are! I read a story about a guy whose COPR and passport was for some reason delivered to another address on his street. Could that be what happened to you? Do they have any record of where the package was last?

So let me get this straight , when someone receives a request for the passport, it would be sent and in return they send us the passport with a stamping and something else called CoPR . could someone tell me the full form of CoPR ?

Confirmation of permanent residence.

Also note that you only need to send the passport if you're not from a visa-exempt country. If you are, you need to send a copy of your passport, or maybe now something else, after the introduction of eTA.

Catch the Canada post delivery guy in area ASAP... most of the time they deliver in your neighbour's post box or in proximity of 1/2 houses of your house. My room mate faced same situation.

Congrats, NaomiA! Happy for you!
To be fair, they do have the $23 option, you can choose either one when you apply. I'm not sure what is the difference between them, though. There was something about a comment/analysis from their experts, or something? Do you have that in your notes?

Same, I don't know the difference between different GCMS note, I just suggest try to avoid ordering the expensive one.

There are some comment like "I satisfied based on this and that......", almost the same with other GCMS note.

They will send your copr along with your passport, Copr is the document you need to produce while doing your landing.(of course along with other documents required)

Huh. Well there must be something, or else why are they charging those extra $27... Aha, just checked their website. Seems like the $50 version will contain the forms you've sent to IRCC and will be the "complete file from CIC", while the $23 version is "file as is". My $23 notes do not have the forms I submitted.

This is actually the document that, as the name suggests, verifies your PR status (and not the PR card, which is just a travel document). The CoPR will be signed by an officer during landing, and is very important, you'll need it when/if applying for citizenship.
