No you dont need consent from your wife ..

I remember that when I ordered my notes, since my husband had not authorized release of info to me, our notes was sent to me with his info deleted.

I guess spouses need to not only appoint principal applicants as representatives, but also fill up another form to authorize release of case notes.

I guess spouses need to not only appoint principal applicants as representatives, but also fill up another form to authorize release of case notes.

The release form that you fill has a column where your spouse can sign and authorize the entire notes to be released. So the principal applicant applies, gets his spouses sign on the release form and that is it. No need to complicate things.

Hi All,

I got my passport back and I also received my GCMS note (note ordered on March-01-2016). I ordered my note from http://gcmsnotes.ca/ and it cost 50CAD. The note has 240+ page in total and the first 228 pages are repeating my information again and again.

Starting from 229, it has some officer's comments regarding my background like job and education. Comments are general staff like other notes so I believe they are filling a template while making the comments.

I don't see anything special from my note and I would suggest you order the note from other websites as http://gcmsnotes.ca/ cost 50CAD!!!.

Thanks all from this forum as it helps me a lot through this tough journey. I hope everyone will get what they want soon!

Got PPR!

My timeline:

FSW Inland (with spouse)
ITA: Sep 18
AOR: Nov 11
Medical passed: Nov 25
BG - in progress: Nov 30
BG - not needed at this time: Dec 10
BG - in progress: April 05
PPR email - April 06

Thank you all for your support! I wish a speedy process for all of us :)

To be fair, they do have the $23 option, you can choose either one when you apply. I'm not sure what is the difference between them, though. There was something about a comment/analysis from their experts, or something? Do you have that in your notes?
