Is everyone's ECAS working properly? It stopped showing me the status more than a month back. That time everybody was complaining all over the forums. Now people have stopped cribbing about their ECAS...Is it because it has started working again for everyone (except me) or have people made peace with the fact that its a thing of past...

When I filed mine (additional docs), they contacted me in a week.
It may depend on what exactly you're trying to do, however.

Updated family information: you must advise us of any change in your marital status or family composition. All family members must be listed on your IMM8 application form. Failure to comply may result in a delay in the issuance of your visa.

I'm asked to submit passports within 15 days and also provide updated family information.


Just want to ask a question, my family info hasn't changed but just wondering if I need to fill any form or just the IMM 5406.

congrats for your ppr!! did your background check appear as "in progress" before and then moved to "not needed at this time"? Or BG check appears as "in progress" on 25th Jan for the first time?
