Just wanted to inform you of my good news. I got my PPR in mycic today morning. Yesterday my Background check had changed to in-progress.

I didn't get a schedule A request but I was wondering about the following:

1- Do they ask for it from everyone?

2- When filling name in our native language, can we write it by hand because Arabic (in my case) does not type properly in the form?

3- Full names in Lebanon usually include father name in the middle, should I include it or not?

4- The form says to fill NONE in the places that do not apply ... should we fill all boxes with NONE or just the first one?

5- For the personal history, they only have a few rows which would not even cover 2-3 years of travel history, can we attach our own table with an LOE and sign it with a similar declaration at the bottom?

No. They do not. Most of my friends weren't asked.
2- When filling name in our native language, can we write it by hand because Arabic (in my case) does not type properly in the form?
You can write it with your hand.

If your official name as per birth certificate/passport has it, then yes.

Depends. IRCC sent my Sch A back because I had not filled up None in all the boxes. But not all the other forms, which is weird.

Yes. I attached a PDF document by copying the tabular format from the form.

Not Every one but Many ppl get Schedule A request, and it is the sign that your app is at closing stage.

yes you can write with hand . but you can use also the pdf writer if you have pdf to fill.

write the name as you have written in English

you can write NONE.

you can add another sheet. at the top write the same form name for which you are attaching. and create similar table and put all info. i think this thing is also mentioned in the form as well.

under education for sch A they have boxes to fill out number of years of education,

i filled out all the boxes for primary and secondary and university but for trade school i didnt had any so i left blank is that ok?

@shaz82, Sch A request doesn't mean that the app is at the final stage. I got the request on the 15th day after AOR. It's been more than 2.5 months after AOR.

i got the same request initially . But there are many cases where cic ask for updated schedule A again, and then issue ppr afterwards.

I have not received any sched A request so far...

My passport does not have a full name field...rather first and last and father name...so should i just write full name as first and last name? That is what I used in my application mostly.

Also for years of education..i completed my BSc in 3 years but WES said it is equivalent to 4 years canadian degree..also my studies went from sept 2007 to june 2010 so should I consider it 4 years when filling that field ?

To everyone who has already received a PPR, congratulations.

Starting to lose hope, I'm 2.5 weeks from the 6 month deadline and according to my consultant there's been no movement on my application in months.

Dear Friends...I checked "my cic" account few mins back...it showed me that my account has been "updated" instead of "submitted". But when I went in, there was no change. Can someone please let me know. What does this mean?

Something good OR Just mind games to hurt an applicant?

Check your email in next 24 hrs. you might get the email.
Also Sometimes it shows updated on CIC but later it changes on your application page
