By your timeline, it is further validated that PPR is taking almost 6 months. Doesn't matter when your BG go into progress for the second time.

Just called CIC. The agent said that eligibility, security and criminality is complete. The file is in queue apparently. But he said that I should contact only after 12 January 2017 (not sure why).

I got the same response yesterday although he did not tell me if eligibility etc. is complete or not. He said that if I dont get it by 11th July the call again and that is when the call centre can take some sort of action about getting the application processed.

If that's the case, that's insane. Like: "well, call in a year from now if nothing happens. Good luck keeping your sanity, though".

PPR awaited

I haven't heard any news from CIC after my BG check went in progress on Aug 05. Anyone who is AOR March 19th or close has received the PPR?

Can you please update here if you get an PPR??

as your and mine seems the same day.
