The first RPRF letter I received 2 months ago was the standard letter everyone gets. The one I received today goes like this:

Dear *********,
Thank you for your interest in Canada.
We have begun processing your application for permanent residence, and in order to make a decision we
require the following information/documents:
 *****************:
 > RPRF: Pay the Right of Permanent Residence fee at
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/index.asp A Copy of your receipt must be received
at this office by: 2016/08/03

Please note that the requested information/documents must be received within 7 days from the date of this
correspondence. Please upload these documents to your MyCIC account.
If we do not receive the information/documents within 7 days, your application will be assessed based on
the information we have on file, meaning your application could be refused as incomplete.
Please note that documents in a language other than English or French must be accompanied by English
or French translations by certified translators. Please provide original documents when requested. Copies
signed by notaries cannot be accepted.
For more information on permanent residence in Canada, please visit our website at:

Sincerely

Click the link, enter your country and select RPRF for payment type, tell me what you see please.

Thanks

Welcome to my reality! :D

I don't know why is it surprising.. When you will log into your account then it will be asked to pay your fee..

Although, I paid upfront but in my knowledge this seems perfectly fine to me..

Not asking for account details, but redirecting to MyCIC login page. I am already logged into MyCIC account.

I bet everyone here paid their fees using this link: https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/epay/welcome.do?lang=en AND not logging into MyCIC. Or am I missing something major?

Thanks,

Upfront payment works differently.

Indeed!

Hi Gurpreet, it takes you to your MyCIC account, but there is no option there (unlike the first time submission) to make any payment.

Post-RPRF request payment works as described above. BUT I am no longer sure if it works like that anymore, because of what I get here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/index.asp

It says pay through your MyCIC account. And there is no freaking functionality to do that in MyCIC.

I agree that.. But still my friend .. note your last post that all RPRF payments should go through you MyCIC Account.. You just posted it 5 minutes before..

May be they have changed it.. Just after selecting the option try to log in and see if there is any option to pay the fee..

Just follow the screen.. don't jump direct into mycic..

Just a suggestion.. Don't pay.. but follw the screen just to check.

Thanks,

@haznac Since you can't even pay it again (and eventually ask for a refund, just to avoid losing the deadline), you better call the help centre asap...

My friend, you can just try it yourself. It doesn't work. Still thanks for the assistance :)

Noone is picking up the phone, but I'll continue to try...

Maybe I should just merge the 2 receipts from 2 months ago into 1 PDF, and upload it on that new field? After all, it is 100% an error on their side, which they will eventually notice.
