Hi bunge12, when did you apply for the WP extension?

March 18th. Got an email about an update on April 17th (I guess that's when it was approved), logged in, didn't see any change. Logged in today, saw that it was approved :)

Just got my WP extension approved! ;D Applied 10 days after I got AOR.

Really surprised that it took them only 1 month vs 3 months posted on CIC waiting times page.

Congrats! Next is PPR for you soonest :)

My BOWP needed 22 days only as well. PR application is stuck since medical passed though. My AOR is Mar 12.

I applied for the WP extension on March 3th, my AOR is March 23rd..

But I haven't got any updates on my WP application...

My background check also changed from In Progress to Not needed at this time. I hope it is a good sign!

I got a schedule A request (IMM5669) today and finished just now. Hope this is a good sign. According to @legalfalcon's post on page 17 of this thread, "A lot of applicants
receive a request for Schedule A " in the security and criminality (or background check) stage. Also, my BG check stuck “in progress” for almost a month.

Just ordered GCMS notes to see what was going on. In the rejection thread, I saw a guy (@ConnieD) successfully avoided an almost certain rejection (NOC code and job duties not match) by knowing what was going on with GCMS notes and by submitting additional proof via CSE.

My partner was under IEC and applied for SOWP on march 1st, thus before our AOR.

She received an email saying that she was approved for the work permit (only 45 days!!!).

Today we received it and realized it is actually a bowp!

I dont understand how did it happen because I thought only the primary applicant, who is myself, could apply for it, she applied before the AOR and she wanted to have a sowp.

Anyway good news is that it means that my R10 is complete!
