I'm definitely starting to lose hope. You know how things are in my country nowadays. It might take ages to get an answer from them.

No! Plz keeping patiently waiting for good news because it is worth waiting for.

You know my country doesn't actually give them information. we don't even have a Canadian embassy here in Iran. We are in the same boat dear.

Let's keep hope alive! :)

9 hours before my lawyer mailed me that IRCC want to confirmation about Landing:
Great news! IRCC is ready to issue your permanent visas however before they do so, they have asked if you are able to land by February 22, 2017. This is because your medical examinations will expire at that time.

I replied BIG FAT YES

I think My PPR on the way ... my status is same from 5 month .....

I hope i will give big news within 2 to 3 days

Thanks

That's awesome man. Psyched for you. Hopefully there's some PPR's on their way this week then

Very happy for both of you! Please help us to reduce that list quickly :)

so i just got my GCMS notes, and you're won't believe this.

It seems that they sat on my file since March 25, 2016 when they reviewed it for minimum requirements of Work Experience (which they refer to R75 and A11.2) and found it NOT meeting the requirements and he requested another officer to review it which he did on Aug 18, 2016 and that officer marked in the notes that upon review he found it to meet the requirements. This is where it sits now as of AUG 18, 2016. What a f...ing joke. The reason why he found the work experience to be deficient was:

Employment letter had a potential start date and not enough evidence of actual work for 1 year...the T4 for 2010 was not enough for him...and the Work reference letter dated Jan 8, 2016 which clearly stated the start date and end date was not referred to in his notes...like he missed it. The second officer obviously saw it and said that I met the requirements of R75 and A11.2 of IRPA s.11.2 and IRPR s. 75

It appears that this is what stalled the file for 5 months. I'm surprised that the file was checked so quickly in March for an eligibility review, given I got my eAOR March 22, 2016! Now I know why my file was stalled. One moron who didn't read the uploaded documents made a negative assessment and let it sit there for 5 months.

Kinda lost as to what to do now.

OMG! I feel for you mubzali :(

They did some stupid thing like that with our case. The officer had not seen the attachment of Schedule A and he/she asked us exactly three times for the same information.

Just chill out!

i'm just annoyed at the level of incompetence of some of these people looking over our applications honestly. ah well, can't do much now. my GCMS notes say i've passed the following: eligibility, criminality, medicals

It also says indicates the codes of the agents to whom my file was assigned to and that that due date is 2016/12/10 - that's December 10th, 2016! I'm 10 days past that...not sure what's going on.
