I think the background verification is the longer process in whole, once that is done positively you are almost ready to get PPR. May be someone else who has been in the process can explain in detail.
Thank you.ajanarth said:I think the background verification is the longer process in whole, once that is done positively you are almost ready to get PPR. May be someone else who has been in the process can explain in details.

Most of us are still in "Not needed at this time". So I see your progress in a positive way.

For Inland candidates, BG in progress will be there until we get the PPR. I got this information from one of my friend who got his PR recently.

dallasboy said:my AOR ws 11-MAR-2016 and I was wondering why my medicals have not passed till date. I checked my mails (not email), and found a letter from CIC Health Department to revisit the panel physician.
The letter was sent 2 weeks ago and not sure when it reached as I hadn't checked the mails for past 10 days.
There was no ghost email or request on mycic account regarding this.
All I am saying is that don't just rely on online status updates, keep an eye on the snail mails to address you provided to CIC
I will update once I find out why I got this letter....(I had no past health issues and as per doctor, all my reports were fine....so I guess RANDOM, screening for further tests..for sure its going to cost me more $$$)
Hello,
where is this snail mail? in application messages?
