Thanks Dev, I was thinking on same lines but then somehow felt that in August, Jan AOR Load, Student visa load will ease off and we might hear something sooner But thought of getting a second opinion on this.

So lets hope for Sep and anything before that will be a blessing,
You are right. In Canada, around 50% of students come from India and China. May to August is the busiest for NDVO processing student visa applications. Things will be faster from September. Hold tight. You will get PPR soon. No hard feelings.

So when my bg went to - in progress; I saw it only on Friday evening, but didn't get a mail till Saturday 11pm, Indian Standard Time. Is my application being processed in Ottawa? I've never ordered gcms notes, and I'm fsw Outland. Ofcourse even if one does consider the time difference, it would only be early Saturday morning in Canada when I recieved a mail. Or it just got, held up in the server.
Though I hope it's Ottawa, since NDVO is taking time.

Exactly. I have factored Student rush which now should ease out. I am setting a longer time frame mentally to avoid heart burn :p anything before that is a Bonus :)

Hey AJ,

I was expecting to get PPR by end of August or early September.

Right now, my BG is in progress. I am expecting to get PPR anytime in this month. You should get it soon too.

Hard to tell on basis on automated email. Though would be better in current situation if it is in Ottawa :)

Hey guys,

A few days/weeks ago the trend for CEC inland was around 5.5-month processing.
Do you believe we are still on the same trend?
I was expecting my ppr sometime in the last week of August...

@Dev: Stay in the March thread, it looks like people in other threads are not managing the pressure as well as we do here ;-)

Just got GCMS note dated July 15th

Eligibility: Recommend Passed
Security: Not Started
Criminality: In Progress
A11.2: Appears Met

"Next" due date was Aug 3rd~~
I got my GCMS notes in June or end of May and my Criminality was set to Passed. Does anyone know if this goes to "In Progress" again?

Elephant doesn't care when he walks ;)
CEC Inland trend seems to be sticking to the timeline you mentioned. I personally haven't followed it closely since I am not one of CEC Inland applicant... but as per my peripheral vision you should get something by August month end :)

I guess, you were not asked for submitting any documents.. right?

If that is the case then it is good for you.. Because when they request for the document first time to complete the application then they put an hold for Criminality.. In your case it seems like your application just satisfied them to accept as complete..

All the best
