You can submit CSE and email the receipt to CPPO-Cost-Recovery@cic.gc.ca

Could someone help me please?

I am unable to find my application in the ECAS system, even though I can log on to MyCIC and see my application progress. I wanted to change my address of communication, but I am again not able to search my application using the "Application ID", last name, DOB, and birth country. I have tried all possible combinations of my name, but it says: "We were not able to identify you using the information you provided."

Has anyone else also faced the same problem? My only concern is that if they send the passport request, then i'll have to send it back to India - I'm currently in the US.

I am a July 26th applicant, and this is my current status:
Application/profile status Open
Review of eligibility Review in Progress
Review of medical results Passed
Review of submitted documents No additional documents are needed at this time
Scheduling an interview Not needed at this time
A background check is needed In Progress
Final decision Not Started

Thanks a ton for the help! And all the best everyone, this week could be it! :)

I believe changing address through ECAS is permitted only if you are in Canada. For applicants outside Canada, local visa office must be contacted.

Thanks! +1'd you :)

Seems I had not read that correctly. I will contact the office directly (New Delhi in my case, here's the link if anyone needs in future: https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=new%20delhi&_ga=1.74286228.78030407.1443501353).

BTW, is the ECAS still down for everyone?

I believe ECAS access is still down for everyone. ::)

I sent the request to the New Delhi office yesterday, and here's the response I got:

"As your application is in progress at the visa office in CPC-Ottawa you will have to contact that visa office for any information on your application.

A permanent resident application submitted to one of the Case Processing Centres (CPCs) in Canada will normally be sent for further processing to the visa office responsible for immigrant applications from the applicant’s country of current residence. If, however, the applicant has not been legally admitted to their country of current residence for one year, the application may be sent to the visa office responsible for the applicant’s country of citizenship. This may be a different visa office. "

When I visited the CPC-Ottawa page, they said that we can request only if we are WITHIN CANADA or applied from the U.S. I have sent a request using the generic CSE form, now hoping for the best.

However, I'm now wondering - if my application date was 26th July and New delhi office still hasn't received my application - does it mean that it'll take a really long time for my PR? Shouldn't they be informed for background check or further processing by now??

Any thoughts?
