Do you have to report changes in employment after submission of an application?

It is very important for me to know whether it is mandatory to report to them if you have changed your occupation or not.

If you are the main applicant ai believe you have to report change of employment. It was mentioned in the AOR.

Is it when you get your PP back or when you get the PR card?
My WP is expiring end of June and I got AOR in Jan 16.
Should I apply for BOWP or will I get PR before June?
May sound like a silly question..but I just don't want to waste money is all..

I might be wrong, but with AOR you can apply for BOWP at any time after that one is issued and you did not get rejected or approved yet with landing. So you can still work and wait for the PR to happen. If you see it not closed by let say end of April, you can still apply for BOWP (but then again, those that did it can confirm this theory).

I am in a similar situation.. I would wait till May to apply for the BOWP!

I think it is a good sign. Although this is the first time I am seeing this kind of jump to background check in progress for an outlander.

We didn't submit schedule 4 also and haven't gotten a request to submit it.
Why do you want to get schedule A? They only request for schedule A if something is not clear about some parts of your history, or missing months, or not properly explaining visa rejections/deportation when you submitted your app.

I got schedule A request for some four months in 2012. They wanted details of what I was doing. I answered yes to a statutory question and they didn't even care about it. My spouse who is the PA also answered yes to One of statutory questions and didn't even get schedule A request, at least not yet.

So relax and let's see what next week brings for you.

May I ask what is the status of your background check? And when can one expect schedule-4? Does schedule-4 mean that the app is final stages? As schedule 4 only asks about funds and province.

No you don't the only things you have to report are:

Specifically, let us know if:
• your personal circumstances change:
o e.g. birth or adoption of a child, marriage, divorce, death of a spouse, etc.
• your email address, mailing address or phone number changes
• you change your immigration representative
• you want to withdraw your application
• you lose a job offer or lose a provincial or territorial nomination.

The last point has to do with your points, if you had a job offer or nomination and it's been withdrawn then you need to let them know as you've claimed points for something that is not longer valid. If you lost a job offer but DID NOT claim points for it then you're safe, no need to report.

Hello Sameer_Mobin,

As of today my background check changed to Not Needed from not started. Although I am not sure if this update was done today or late Saturday.

I have no idea on when "one can expect" or if schedule 4 will be requested. I guess schedule 4 means they want to access your provincial nominee file? Because I see no reason why they need it. Anyways, I know nothing i am guessing here.

I will say until we get the ppr mail, then we know for sure that our app is at final stage.

It's a new week cic better start sending ppr emails to Jan applicants.
