You don't have to mail any physical forms. You can just send the medicals + Passport of the baby and the forms mentioned above in a CSE to the concerned LVO and to Ottawa and you are good to go! This will not "affect" the process (negatively) per say. They might take some time to update the details of the baby in their systems but that is as far as it goes.shaheerjaved said:G126 hello. If you remember, my aor was 10 jan.
25 jan: meds passed; no additional doc req
26 jan: bg check not started.
30 jan (probably as i skipped checking my account on weekend.)
One thing i missed to tell you was that my first baby was born on jan 19th. I raised a CSE on jan 22. My question is: will the birth of my baby will somehow influence the progress (or lack of it) of processing of my file.do you see any corelation of my status changes with the birth of my child. Will cic hold my file until i upload his birth certificate and passport (which will take a month) or will process it at its normal pace. Please note that i had chosen my settllement funds keeping in view this increase in family members.

Dear Muhammad Shaheer Javed,
Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. You will find all the necessary information to answer your enquiry below:
If you are the principal applicant of a permanent residence application already in process, you could add your spouse or common-law partner, dependent children, and their dependent children to your application, even if they were listed as a non-accompanying dependant in the initial application.
To do so, we invite you to complete the following forms and mail them to the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) in Sydney, Nova Scotia. If the newly created family member is a child born in Canada, only the add-on request is required:
A new Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008) with supporting documents,
(If applicable) A Schedule A - Background/Declaration (IMM 5669) form,
(If applicable) An Additional Dependants/Declaration (IMM 0008DEP) form,
(If applicable) A signed Additional Family Information (IMM 5406) form,
A copy of the family member’s valid passport,
Police certificates for all countries where the family member over the age of 18 has lived for more than 6 months since turning 18,
and
The add-on request including:
your name,
your client ID number/UCI,
your file number,
a letter of explanation,
a copy of the birth certificate, marriage certificate or proof of common-law relationship, and
if applicable, the proof of payment.
Useful tips
Please ensure to write ADD-ON on the forms and on the envelope.
If you would like proof that your application was received, we suggest that you use registered mail with Canada Post or a courier service such as Purolator, UPS, FedEx, etc.
It may be impossible to add a member of your family to the application if a final decision has already been made.
We hope you will find this information helpful.
Your add-on request will be evaluated by the responsible office. You will be contacted when a decision will be made or if further information is required.
We hope the information provided is helpful in assisting you with your enquiry.
We would also like to suggest the following online services that might be helpful to you with any immigration, refugee and/or citizenship future requests:
Download application forms and guides
Change of address
Check your application status
Help Centre - To find answers, you may consult the different sections or type keywords related to your question.

DO you think they have asked to re-submit the whole application AGAIN. This email was sent to my gmail account and not in my cic pr app messages twice by cic agents as i had submitted two queries(same query copypasted and sent vie web form which i presume is cse and one through my cic account by logging a technical query).
Why are they requiring me to submit "A new Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008) with supporting documents" and why are they using If applicable against the rest of the docs?
I think they have wrongly presumed that i an the principal applicant and i had ommitted my wife and child from the app at the time of submission and have now returned back to them to request cic to add my wife and son as accompanying partner anddependent, respectively. Whereas my wife is the secondary applicant and we have claimed her edu and ielts points.

Yes, you're quite right, you never said PNP will take more than 6 months to process, aditik15 did as he read Surbhigurpreet's post in the Nov thread:musicnlyrx said:I never said that PNP applicants are not going to be processed within 6 months (and may be the actual statement made was interpreted wrongly)...
This is what sparked the whole discussion as I replied to the above message and then you replied to my message, so when I said that I was actually referring to the original message, my bad for not making that clear!aditik15 said:I read on the November thread that the CIC told this guy that PNP-O dont get processed less than 6months :'(
Not sure what sense does that make? First the excruciating OINP wait now this
Perhaps I didn't make myself clear here either, it's not nonsense to call them, but part of the information given Surbhigurpreet when he called (about PNP taking at least 6 months) was nonsense (given the PNP-O with PPR in 3 months example in the Nov thread). I then justified that by saying that the call center is not obligated to tell us anything about the status of the application until the normal processing time is up, so it doesn't surprise me that they said what they said... It's not grievance on my part, it's simple action and reaction, they ask us not to bother them and we do they'll never reveal the whole truth and some will give misleading information like the PNP part in an attempt to avoid future contact until the time is up.musicnlyrx said:....
It is OK to get GCMS notes anytime you feel suitable. It is OK to call IRCC call center anytime you feel suitable. Nothing is nonsense here. I understand your grievance about bothering the IRCC official again and again with same set of questions...
that's great news and gives us hope!!!g126 said:Great news guys!!!
The first PPR in the DEC thread was issued yesterday! That's PPR in 2 months... ;D
With any luck we'll start seeing PPRs here in 4 weeks' time!
Hurray!!!
You'll be fine!nmuntz said:that's great news and gives us hope!!!
i just wish my meds passed quickly so i can sleep at night hahah
They might be done with your documents check already and not updated your account yet.g126 said:Nope... nothing!
I was kind of hoping to see BC go back to NN around this time but no such luck yet. Anyway, I've ordered GCMS notes today (couldn't resist... to anxious to see what's up with my R10 & A11.2) I know it's early and I don't recommend anyone to do this, but I though I might as well.. the worst thing is I get and empty file
My idea is to order them monthly so see the progress and share this in the forum, hope this will help others!
I am still waiting to order mine. I take it, that too little time has passed to do such order. But I guess, that I will be tempted soon.Freedom2016 said:They might be done with your documents check already and not updated your account yet.
Hopefully some good news for you soon.
I am glad you took the bull by its horn by requesting for your notes.
You will surely see some form of update on your file. There is no harm ordering for them every month and you will also get to give of some insights to everyone.
I will wait till the end of the month and order mine.
Please don't worry- your medical should be fine.nmuntz said:that's great news and gives us hope!!!

Thanks! Hopefully you're right, I'll just have to wait and see...Freedom2016 said:They might be done with your documents check already and not updated your account yet.

I had that idea too, but then I spoke to kamy (I think) and she said that she prefer them with 6 weeks and all of the stuff was done within the first two weeks... so maybe I'll get lucky ;Dvensak said:I am still waiting to order mine. I think as long as your background checks have changed from not needed to not started then back to not needed there will be some solid info there.vensak said:I am still waiting to order mine. I take it, that too little time has passed to do such order. But I guess, that I will be tempted soon.
That's exactly what I'm counting on since my medicals changes about 2 weeks ago... I figured that by ordering yesterday they'll get pulled around about the 7th of FEB which is 1 month from AOR... ;DFreedom2016 said:I think as long as your background checks have changed from not needed to not started then back to not needed there will be some solid info there.
The gcms notes I have been reading on the forum, I noticed on the day medical passed they write lots of information and some days later more notes.
i will surely order mine by the end of the month.
