same here buddy. medicals still not passed (although i was not asked for additional medical tests like you)...
i guess we just have to hang in there and learn to be patient again... after OINP i thought my patience level got to a new level but i guess i was wrong
While waiting for OINP I wasn't that stressed because I was still far away from the prize; I actually wasn't even hopeful that I would get nominated anyway.

But after I got the ITA and I submitted my eAPR, sh*t got real! This wait is even harder

Same here. Probably the feeling that the end reward is near but still not in our grasp is making crazy.

Still no change in my profile since the the second day after applying.

Jan 5th i got BG not started and no additional docs required and nothing since then

Medicals still not passed. All I got was an additional test request a week after applying and that's it, been 2 weeks since I submitted the tests.

All kinds of scenarios are going through my head right now, what if the dr made a mistake and the test upload failed, what if my profile got benched, what if what if...

Thing is, what makes me think this way is that if they requested an additional test then they were checking my medicals, so why would they need 2+ weeks to check the additional test? Idk.

I think I will just forget about it
You have high BP right? And had to do extra exams? If so that might be why its taking so long... at the time they updated you file your medicals weren't done yet in the next update you'll see meds passed and BC to NN or IP ;)

Nope... nothing! :(

I was kind of hoping to see BC go back to NN around this time but no such luck yet. Anyway, I've ordered GCMS notes today (couldn't resist... to anxious to see what's up with my R10 & A11.2) I know it's early and I don't recommend anyone to do this, but I though I might as well.. the worst thing is I get and empty file :(

My idea is to order them monthly so see the progress and share this in the forum, hope this will help others!
G126 hello. If you remember, my aor was 10 jan.
25 jan: meds passed; no additional doc req
26 jan: bg check not started.
30 jan (probably as i skipped checking my account on weekend.)back ground check again changed to not needed.

One thing i missed to tell you was that my first baby was born on jan 19th. I raised a CSE on jan 22. My question is: Do you think it again went to not needed as cic wants my newborns details before it will move ahead with the processing of my file?will the birth of my baby will somehow influence the progress (or lack of it) of processing of my file.do you see any corelation of my status changes with the birth of my child. Will cic hold my file until i upload his birth certificate and passport (which will take a month) or will process it at its normal pace. Please note that i had chosen my settllement funds keeping in view this increase in family members.

Thanks for the reassurance but are the updates periodic?? Or do they update whenever there is a change in the profile?

As far as I know you'll need to upload the birth cert. and medical cert. as IRCC will ask you to do medicals on your baby. Really not sure how this will affect your file, but they will probably put it on hold and restart it once you submit. Since you raised a CSE you must now wait for them to ask you to the documents I suppose.
Good luck and congratulations on your new born!

That usually means R10 complete and A11.2 ongoing.. now since you'll be required to upload more NEW docs it's difficult to say if they will need to do R10 again or not.. I'm thinking not, so they'll probably append the docs and carry on with A11.2... But I'm guessing here.. ;)

_____________________________________. They did contacted me yesterday. I am copy pasting the email and will then put my queries to you.

Dear Muhammad Shaheer Javed,

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. You will find all the necessary information to answer your enquiry below:

If you are the principal applicant of a permanent residence application already in process, you could add your spouse or common-law partner, dependent children, and their dependent children to your application, even if they were listed as a non-accompanying dependant in the initial application.

To do so, we invite you to complete the following forms and mail them to the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) in Sydney, Nova Scotia. If the newly created family member is a child born in Canada, only the add-on request is required:

A new Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008) with supporting documents,
(If applicable) A Schedule A - Background/Declaration (IMM 5669) form,
(If applicable) An Additional Dependants/Declaration (IMM 0008DEP) form,
(If applicable) A signed Additional Family Information (IMM 5406) form,
A copy of the family member’s valid passport,
Police certificates for all countries where the family member over the age of 18 has lived for more than 6 months since turning 18,

and
The add-on request including:
your name,
your client ID number/UCI,
your file number,
a letter of explanation,
a copy of the birth certificate, marriage certificate or proof of common-law relationship, and
if applicable, the proof of payment.

Useful tips

Please ensure to write ADD-ON on the forms and on the envelope.
If you would like proof that your application was received, we suggest that you use registered mail with Canada Post or a courier service such as Purolator, UPS, FedEx, etc.
It may be impossible to add a member of your family to the application if a final decision has already been made.

We hope you will find this information helpful.

Your add-on request will be evaluated by the responsible office. You will be contacted when a decision will be made or if further information is required.

We hope the information provided is helpful in assisting you with your enquiry.

We would also like to suggest the following online services that might be helpful to you with any immigration, refugee and/or citizenship future requests:

Download application forms and guides
Change of address
Check your application status
Help Centre - To find answers, you may consult the different sections or type keywords related to your question.

Sincerely,

Massimo,

DO you think they have asked to re-submit the whole application AGAIN. This email was sent to my gmail account and not in my cic pr app messages twice by cic agents as i had submitted two queries(same query copypasted and sent vie web form which i presume is cse and one through my cic account by logging a technical query).

Why are they requiring me to submit "A new Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008) with supporting documents" and why are they using If applicable against the rest of the docs?

I think they have wrongly presumed that i an the principal applicant and i had ommitted my wife and child from the app at the time of submission and have now returned back to them to request cic to add my wife and son as accompanying partner anddependent, respectively. Whereas my wife is the secondary applicant and we have claimed her edu and ielts points.

Out of the forms that they have cited which one is relevant to me in tour opinion? Secondly, do have to courier the required docs to cio office or should i again raise a cse to upload all the required docs in pdf file?
Lastly all these files are not opening. Giving a stange message that your pdf is not updated enough to open them.

OMG.. they are basically asking for you to resubmit everything...

And worse it seems you must mail them the new package... Sorry to hear that!

Search the other forums and see if someone has had a similar issue. I have not seen it myself.

Well they've asked for IMM0008 which is basically the whole thing again... If applicable on the others, yes... but IMM0008 is huge!

I can't actually open that in my computer, I don't have acrobat reader installed, so I may be wrong!

Dude this thing is not opening anywhere but you are right its the whole application.
Question is that why they are requiring me to submit it. my statuses have not changed (timeline i have mentioned you previously)

The reply that i have pasted came on my gmail and not in my account messages and it came twice yesterday as i had logged two queries ne through web form and one through logging a tech nical query from within my account.
