Finally change on mine application today.
E-APR on 3dr of January

It changed from initial setup to this:
Application/profile status Open
Review of eligibility Review in Progress
Review of medical results Passed
Review of submitted documents No additional documents are needed at this time
Scheduling an interview Not needed at this time
A background check is needed Not Started
Final decision Not Started

So I hope this is the sign, that the application was submitted to the local VO. And I hope it also means that Ontario has confirmed my PNP status. (I know that elibility will only turn to passed after you get your COPR documents).

When did you do your medicals?

What exactly changed for you? The BC or the Documents? Or Medicals? Or may be all of them? ;D

Yes, correct! Some say CoPR - Confirmation of Permanent Resident. It's a form you get along with your passport when you receive it back from VO with the PR VIsa.

Don't think so, I think it's just a form you get back with your PP that you must present at landing.

So only way I can safely assume that I got PR is when I receive PPR.
Since I already paid RPRF upfront I don't think I have that checkpoint anymore.

Medicals, Documents and BG. That is why I hope, that file was transfered to VO (most probably Vienna).

PPR is step that is only requested for applicants or dependants that do not have visa free access to Canada for short visitor trips. COPR everybody will get.

Yes! PPR is when they request your PP.. and it's widely understood as the point where you've passed everything and there is no long chance of rejection.

There are still a few things that can go wrong, they may reject the photos you send along with the passports... they may make a mistake on your CoPR form, etc. but usually can be resolved without too much headache.

On that note I wish a Sseedy PPR for all!

Lol Great man.

I just checked August AOR thread and seems like people started getting PPR.

seems like 4-5 months of Processing is average.

Wow!!! Excellent news!

Yes, but for you I understand PPR is when you need to send a final scan of you PP (since EU doesn't need a Visa) and they will let you know when you can pick up your CoPR (or send that to you address). Right?

And why Vienna? Isn't there a consulate in Bratislava? Or do you live closer to the Austrian border making Vienna the closest capital to you?

Yeah... let's keep a positive attitude and think that we'll get PPR in less than 6 months...

To be honest I do not know exact details there. All I know is, that I do not have to send my passport, just the scan of the biometric page (which is already in my application and unless something unexpected happens that page does not change). My husband however has to send his passport. So when the time will come I will see how is it done. I think there were some applicants from UK posting their letter that was requiring that last step.

What I think will be longest are the BG check. His country is kind of from your region (so I am awaiting "very fast" answers from their side)

And I did not get any ghost mails from my account. But I was requesting my UCI, so I got answer for that.

Speedy answers and processing for all!
