Wait tonight then call them tomorrow morning to ask about correspondence from CIC.

Hey Riz92

Just spoke to CIC rep, as per them they have sent a communication on April 25th (the day of IP2), but we haven't received it. They won't tell me what the communication was as i am the dependent and my spouse is the primary applicant. it took me me 40 mints to get hold of the cic agent. My spouse is not available to call right now.

Most prob the email they sent is sent to some agents email id we used in past.. :-[ can something be this bad..... :o

dont know what to do... :-\

any suggestions.

Thanks everyone I have got a lot of valuable information from this post. I received my PPR mail yesterday... :) All the best for everyone who's next in line.

Thanks Mutaros. I sent them an email again and they replied back with the following:

Dear Sir/Madam,

Please be advised that your application is at our office and is being processed as per our regulatory timeline. Please note that we cannot confirm when your file will be ready for finalization.

An officer will contact you if further information is required.

Does that mean my file is at Ottawa office and is it the final location for a CEC application?
i got excatly same response today.
Cec/aor 15th feb/med passed 15th feb/ next step is to check background as of 15th march... no movement since then

Hey Vik86,

Same here. I sent them an email because I haven't seen any movement on my profile since March 06th..
Cec/aor 08th feb/med passed 06th March/ next step is to check background as of 06th march. I wonder what's going on. Maybe our file has passed everything and is currently in Ottawa for the final screening. :-\

When medical changed as pass, it was showing as "your application is in progress, next step is back ground check"
then it changed as NA from 4th april

I don't think e-mailing them will move on the process to be honest. Maybe someone with more experience on here would be better to assist you. :)

Are you a CEC, FSW, or PNP?

Thanks for the share, did your background status change when the file transfer from cio to cpc sydney?
thanks

Some agents use CIO and CPC Sydney interchangeably

author=Baji81 link=topic=472377.msg5967029#msg5967029 date=1493298760]
It is not necessary for every application, but some of the application including mine noticed this trend. After reviewing my GCMS notes, it has been understood the below.

CIO Sydney - Medicals, R10, Criminality Checks
CPC Sydney - Eligibility assessment (Agent Recommendation), Security check triggered
CPC Ottawa - Final Decision

Hope it helps :)

I faced the same problem.

They sent my ppr email and i didn't received it. i was on the the same day my BG changed to IP
send an email to cpc ottawa regarding status of your file and they will let you know what communication was sent and ask you to verify if you didn't receive it

In this case, CIC cant help out.
