Hi Baji,

I came across your post where you explained two cases - one with NBG and IP only once. And other with IP1 and IP2.

The above holds true for all streams or just CEC?

The majority of the cases that I have noticed is for Inlanders. Not sure, how outlanders are noticing the status. Irrespective of the status the main process remain the same :) for both.

Its unclear....some receive CPC Sydney some CIO Sydney some CPC Ottawa....
They should have mentioned the location.

Sydney, Nova Scotia location has both CIO (Centralized Intake Office) & CPC (Case Processing Center). During the initial stages our files will be at CIO office and eligibility and final decision, files will be moved to CPC Offices.

Does it men than all applications (at least for CEC) goes like this:

CIO Sydney ---> CPC Sydney ---> CPC Ottawa

Thanks

It is not necessary for every application, but some of the application including mine noticed this trend. After reviewing my GCMS notes, it has been understood the below.

CIO Sydney - Medicals, R10, Criminality Checks
CPC Sydney - Eligibility assessment (Agent Recommendation), Security check triggered
CPC Ottawa - Final Decision

Hope it helps :)

Thank you

Yes, the temporary solution was that rg74 is so kind that he/ she offered to update my information on my behalf.
But I will need to reach out to Andy108 regarding fixing the issue, which I have not done yet. :P

Ok, I should probably reach out to Andy108 too as I haven't heard anything from the website owner yet. Nothing has changed on my status but I would like to be able to once it eventually happens.

I wish I had found this forum earlier so that I would've known to be looking out for changes with the background status because I'm really not sure if I am on IP (1) or IP (2). I certainly hope I've passed the N/A stage and just not realized lol...

How long did it take them to reply back to your email? I had sent them one in the beginning of this week.

I wrote them today at 8.30 am and got a response in 30 ~ 35 mins

Hello,

My Medical passed on April 13th and the Background check updated to "Not Applicable" the same day. It's been like that since then. Can anyone tell if is it expected? Stream -CEC Inland

In Eligibility assessment, they will do all sorts of verfications against all your reference / employment letters. Once he feels everything good then Agent will re-assess / recalculate your CRS score to see if you are still above or equal to the cut-off with which you invited your PR. They also verify your POF, travel history, personal history, passports validity, Spouse documents etc. Long story short , this is one of th critical stage in our PR process. In the end, agent will provide his recommendation to Visa Officer.

Hope it helps.
:)

Thank you for your response... So this is the main stage where a decision will be made. So the fat lady is yet to sing :)

Thanks very much!

I was asked to provide a RCMP on 4th April and submitted the same on 25th April.

Does that mean my application processing was paused for 20 and now started of again?

or do they process eligibility assessment during the while, which is the next step to criminality check.
