Congratulations Ansuman !!!

Just a quick question your AOR is 8 Feb or Feb 11 as immitracker has your AOR as 11 feb but here you have mentioned 8 feb. Let me know. Thanks

Sorry, AOR was11th Feb, ITA was 8th FEB. Tracker is right.

Congrats to all PPR Recipients.

Question:

Is this true for Background check?

IP1 - Your application is in progress we will send you a message if there is anything needed

IP2 - We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

Thanks

If you don't mind me asking an oft-repeated question - what does eligibility assessment entail? Do they check the veracity of my reference letters at this stage - I am really anxious w.r.t. the reference letters since I have quit the last job where I got the reference letter from and not sure if the issuing manager will be available to verify what HR has issued.

In Eligibility assessment, they will do all sorts of verfications against all your reference / employment letters. Once he feels everything good then Agent will re-assess / recalculate your CRS score to see if you are still above or equal to the cut-off with which you invited your PR. They also verify your POF, travel history, personal history, passports validity, Spouse documents etc. Long story short , this is one of th critical stage in our PR process. In the end, agent will provide his recommendation to Visa Officer.

Hope it helps.
:)

Hi Baji,

Need one information from you. For passport to Ottawa, only primary need to fill the Annex A or all dependent needs to fill one.

Bit confusing as the declaration says I agree that the PR resident visa will be affixed to my passport. So if it is authorisation, dependent is 18 years more so does it need a separate authorisation.

Thanks in advance.

No, this is not true. In both cases, you'll see the same status that you mentioned for IP2 in your my CIC.

Only Primary needs to fill the Annex A and should send that along with passports and photographs of all the applicants (Primary and Dependents).

Hope it helps.

Hi Baji,

I came across your post where you explained two cases - one with NBG and IP only once. And other with IP1 and IP2.

The above holds true for all streams or just CEC?

Can you edit you case -
Your BGS was IP(1) on 17th April when it said - " We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information"
Then it changed to Not Applicable on 26 April.
Now you will get another In progress which will be In progress(2) and then PPR. All the best :)

Hi Friends,

AOR: 25th Feb
Medical Passed: 17th April
BG: We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information. (17th April)
BG: Not Applicable (26th April)
There was no IP1 for me.
What would be the next step? and what could be the reason for this?

Your help would calm my nerves followed by peaceful sleep. Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Just another optimistic person ;D
