Hi Guys,

My Background Check still states "Your application is in progress. The next step is to conduct a background check". It's been 7 weeks today. I'm worried if this might lead to rejection of my application. :'(

FYI, I submitted by RCMP check upfront.

Timeline:
CEC Inland
AOR - Feb 08th, 2017
Med Passwd - March 06th, 2017
NA -> NBG - March 06th, 2017

Yes. Can some senior member please let us know that how much time can it take for the BG to change from BGS..Next step is to.... to NOT APPLICABLE.

usually how many days it take after NA???

thanks for reply

Now a days CEC is taking 70-90 days in total average....

From NA to IP2 is varying between 1-4 weeks.

Again, please remember these are averages. Every case is different so no one can say anything for sure. The best we can do is give an áverage timeline based on tracker info.

CEC Inland:

BG IP (1) changed to NA today ( No RCMP requested)

Does it mean A11.2 eligibility passed ?

AOR: Feb 12th
Medicals: March 8th
BG - IP(1)

Yes, Its an average Processing time but every case is unique and handle in its own way. Gaps between every stage may vary.

Most likely you have passed R10 and initial criminality (PCC) and your file has been transferred to Ottawa (if you are CEC)

Hello all,

My background check changed last week to "Your application is in progress. The next step is to conduct a background check" and then on Friday they asked me for Schedule A and Travel history for my spouse and today my background changed to "Not applicable"

Can anyone tell me what is the difference between the two of them? I am very worried.

AOR:26TH FEB
DID MEDS ON 14TH OF MARCH
MEDS PASSED:I ONLY CHECKED MY PROFILE ON 28TH OF MARCH TO FIND THAT I HAD PASSED.(SO NOT TOO SURE THE EXACT DATE WHEN THE MEDS PASSED,NEVER RECEIVED ANY EMAIL)
BG:N/A FROM THE DAY I LOOKED AT MY PROFILE.I'M NOT SURE IF I MISSED THE BG GO INTO PROCESS WHEN I HAD PASSED THE MEDICALS BECAUSE I DID NOT MONITOR MY PROFILE FROM THE TIME I DID MY MEDICALS UNTIL THE 28TH OF MARCH.I'M ASSUMING I MISSED THE UPDATE ON THE 1ST IP.PATIENTLY WAITING NOW FOR FINAL DECISIONS TO BE MADE.
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!! ;D
