I have been a silent observer of this forum. You all have been a great help to stay updated and calm during the waiting period. Below is my express entry application timeline:

Medicals passed: March 04,2017
Background check in progress: March 04, 2017
Background check NA: April 14, 2017

I got a message today asking me to submit RCMP Criminal Record Check: "Please provide an RCMP Criminal Record Check based on fingerprints."

And BG status changed to "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."

Anyone know what are the procedure for obtaining the same? I live outside GTA, Can I just walk in to the nearest RCMP office and can do the fingerprints and apply for the PCC?

Review of medical results You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents The additional documents you provided have been uploaded.
Interview You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check Not applicable.
Final decision Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

BG changed to IP on April 12th. IP to NA today after I uploaded some additional documents.
Hopefully I'll get the mail soon.

My Background Check still states "Your application is in progress. The next step is to conduct a background check". It's been 7 weeks today. I'm worried if this might lead to rejection of my application. :'(

FYI, I submitted by RCMP check upfront.

Med Passwd - March 06th, 2017
NA -> NBG - March 06th, 2017

It is normal now a days...things are getting slower...
