I have the same situation as you.

my BG changes to NBG by Apr 20, but my ME still waits for the "pass". So how long will it take usually? Is it normal?

Not sure, seems to vary from case to case. They're have even been people saying they've gotten PPR with no medical change, or background change until the very last step.

You have colour coded nationalities of ppr. Is it linked to the duration of the PPR in any manner?

Every case/ application and there are lot of dependicies on other parties by CIC. Due to that reason people who applied in March got PPR and some of the poor January applicants are still waiting for their turn.

No color coding does not have any relation to the duration, you can see the digits there which illustrate days.

It seems like CIC is slowing down, just purely on comparing Jan-Feb-April.

No update on medical but Review on additional documents changed to 'We do not need additional documents'.
Do anyone of you have the same situation? Any idea what stage of processing is this?
Thanks

In general documents status will change along with medical. May be the agent didn't updated your status yet. But nothing to worry, as long as you are not hearing anything, then you can very well safely assume that things are moving smoothly.

All the best with the rest of the process :)
