Guys, has immigration officers telephone called to you work place or manager?
I ask it because in my workplace nobody can speak English well
I wonder how would they answer officers if they call. On the other hand my manger doesn't know I have applied for immigration and he might get shockingly surprised.

I guess that the local VO are in charge of calling employers

Absolutely. Local VO officera call employer. They prefer calling the person who has signed your employment letter.

With reduced intake (1000 applications).. I think the processing is speeding up. Be a little patient and try not to check mycic thrice a day like me.

Yours might be approved around the same time you receive PPR, who knows? It's already been 2 months for your PR application. Good luck either way!
