HI
WHICH IS UR VISA OFFICE.
R U OUTLANDER OR INLANDER?

I am FSW-Inland but my case is being processed by ManilaVO which I have no idea why. Maybe because my work permit app was processed there.

Thanks a lot for the congrats! I wish to say the same to you soon.
Well, the Visa Officer just asked the first person who answered the call whether she knew who I was, and what kind of job I was doing.

Is it only for primary applicants or do they call the current employer of the dependent as well.

Normally it would just be the primary applicant, given that you did not claim any points from your dependent. But even if you did, I have not heard of any dependent's employer being questioned. Usually, IRCC focus more on WES/ICAS, PCC for them.

i see people from feb AOR have started getting PPRs.

My Reference letter is for work experience done 5 years ago. The letter is signed one year ago. They closed the company just after I submitted my file. What if they call my employer? Do they normally do that for such old work experience? Any thoughts?

Yes but they're 'Outland' candidates. Inland candidates will have to bide our time.

Sorry if this a wrong thread but I need help with few below queries:

- After being nominated and once I get the ITA do I need to get the employer's reference letters again OR do i have to submit the same ones that were uploaded during my SINP application?

The reason I ask this is my last employer reference letter is dated Nov 2014 (2 years old), although my role has not changed and I still work for the same company.

Also I've seen responses stating "we need to submit proof of funds as per CIC format" what does this actually mean?
Will uploading FD certificates and bank statements (downloaded online) do?

Thanks,
Prit

Hi Stanlee,

Thanks for the link. I could see some people who received AOR in the month of Feb 2016 received their PPR, also there are some people who received AOR in the month of Oct/Nov 2015 still waiting for the PPR request. Do you have any idea on how the visa applications are processed? DO they have any priority or category in which the files are sorted out?

My status is the same since before March 1. Timeline in signature, NOTHING has changed even a bit after i submitted my FBI certificate on March 1. My background has stayed constantly In Progress.

Anyone else in a similar boat?

Its over 2 months for me i got aor on 27th january.. Meds passed on 6th feb.. But aftr that nothing.
i am 19th jan AOR and nothing so far. recently i was asked for RCMP that is it.

I'm also joining the 2 months since AOR club. Don't know about you guys, but as I'm FSW (Inland), my wait time will be at least 4 months more (or longer).

As my WP expires on 26 June, I applied for a BOWP. I advise all Inland candidates who have less than 4 months on their WP to do the same ASAP. I think it's not worth taking the chance as IRCC is unpredictable.
