I do not think CIC has issued PPRs to all Jan 2016 Outland Applicants. It'll probably take a week or two further and then it should be y'all's turn. I'm just guessing, maybe they can do both Jan and Feb in parallel. Good luck!

They do actually.
They treat each file individually. If a January file processing time is longer because of some issue, it doesn't hold all the February and March files.

Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone had the same thing as I have right now. I recieved my AOR on February 24th 2016. Passed my medicals a week after. My background check was set to not started until just last week (20th of July). I've seen many people have their background check go to, "In Progress" a week after they submit their applications. And mine didn't go into, "In Progress" until July 20th. A whole five months after I submitted my application. Before that it was, "Not started". Is this normal? Has anyone else encountered this? I ordered GCMS notes but I feel like they're going to arrive a bit too late.

Anyone know or anyone from Sydney vo know how long they took to send
His passport back ?

Did you really have to send the passport to the VO? Australia is a visa exempt country, and I though Australian citizens needed to send the scanned copy of their passport bio page only. I might be wrong, but it's worth checking I guess.

I am a British Citizen living in Australia, I also got my PPR on 12th July. Sydney VO received my passport photocopies on 15th July, and after 8 working days, I can see online that my application has been accepted and closed today. Expecting my documents to arrive back to me in the next couple of days. It seems that Sydney VO takes a little longer processing the paperwork than CPC-Ottawa.
