me too, I received ghost email 8 hours ago, but nothing has changed in my status. I'm contemplating that I was assigned to local visa office because the email was sent during our normal work time.. do you happen to know where are you assigned?

No, I don't know which Visa office my file has been assigned to. I assume it must be Ottawa. Or may be Vancouver (if they have a visa office), since I live here.

LMIA will get him points to clear Express entry. But do you know which stream he wants to file under as he might not qualify for FSW/CEC.. only option left would be PNP if that can be arranged.

Hi, just checked my profile and for Background Check it says "Not Needed at this time"

The weird thing about this; I did not get an Email notification, (Ghost Email or other Email saying 'Your Application has been Updated').

I also checked and they have not asked me for any additional documents.

Looked like CIC processed medical check before any other checks.

Do we know how long CIC will take to review eligibility?

I am thinking that eligibility is one essential part to receive positive final decision, perhaps it is the most important part. Background check, too, is important, but we're very unlikely to fail at background check when all PCC's are in place and clean.

Yes. Long story short, I applied federal CEC in Sep 2014 (pre-express entry) and CIC doesn't process it at all. So I re-applied EE got ITA and AOR etc.

Me as well, I applied under the PNP (Masters program) PR last year and I know it is going to take 15 months by the time they will arrive with a decision.

As such, applied under EE program (FSW)

I applied AINP way earlier and took 16 months to just get nominated. And now it's useless. In just a few months I will be entering my 4th year of waiting for PR. One could finish a college diploma with this time.
