OK, so we're all on our 5th month of waiting and hoping for the best . I guess most of us will know the answer in the next 30 days or less.
AOR January people have been waiting little bit longer than us and all they are getting are PPRs. I didn't see any refusals of somebody's application in AOR January thread.

Has that ever happened before? Refusals after 5 months of waiting? Or does CIC give refusals much earlier?

I'd love to hear from people who have been following this forum for a longer time than I did.Ž

My last inland FSW application was submitted on July 8, 2015 and rejected January 7, 2016 for missing ECA!

Hi manidhatt, seems like its going well for you and you are on track for PPR. Can you please enlighten us as to what imm5406 is?

It's good at least you are having some movement on your case file. Sadly for me, since 26 February nothing after my file was transferred for Sydney NS to CPC Ottawa.

Seems they are processing according to AOR dates. You'll surely see an update within a week or less. IMM 5406 is additional family information (includes your parents, spouse, siblings with their date and place of birth and current address).

I wish & hope after such a long wait we all should get PPR.
To answer your query-Yes there has been 5-6 cases atleast who got rejected even after 5 months of wait.

quick question for those who have received PPR and passport submission request. Can i know how long you have to submit the passport?

Hey. They have given me 30 days to submit my passport (or photocopy in my case as I have a British Passport and do no require a visa). There is an email that you can contact if you are unable to submit it in this time.
